Nepal Micro Insurance Opens IPO for the Public from Today

Nepal Micro Insurance Limited has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public from today, Falgun 11 (February 23, 2025). The company is issuing 1.845 million shares at a price of Rs. 100 per share, totaling Rs. 184.5 million.

Earlier, the company received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 2.25 million shares in total. Out of this, 225,000 shares were already sold to Nepalese working abroad. Similarly, 67,500 shares are reserved for company employees, and 112,500 shares are set aside for mutual funds.

Now, the general public can apply for the remaining 1.845 million shares. The IPO application is open until Falgun 15 (February 27, 2025). If all shares are not sold by then, the deadline will be extended until Falgun 25 (March 9, 2025).

NIMB Ace Capital is the issue manager for this IPO. Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 100,000 shares. Applications can be submitted through C-ASBA member banks and financial institutions or via the Mero Share online portal.
