Hyundai’s official distributor in Nepal, Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., introduced the Creta EV and Made-in-Nepal Creta ICE at a launch event on Chaitra 11 at Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu. The vehicles were showcased under the theme “Choose Your Future.”
To meet customer needs, Hyundai has launched both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) models. The starting price of the Creta EV is NPR 51,96,000, while the Made-in-Nepal Creta ICE starts at NPR 53,96,000. According to the company, the price of the Nepal-made Creta ICE is up to NPR 9 lakh lower compared to imported ICE models arriving in 2025. The event was graced by South Korean Ambassador to Nepal, Park Tae-young.
