The NEPSE index saw another day of gains, rising by 41.67 points to close at 2,621.86. All 13 sub-indices recorded an increase, reflecting a positive sentiment in the market. The total trading volume also grew, reaching Rs. 5.22 billion.
A total of 9.72 million shares from 309 companies were traded during the session. Among them, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited recorded the highest turnover for the day.
In terms of price growth, 227 companies saw their share prices increase. The top gainers of the day included Gurans Laghubitta, Srijanshil Laghubitta, Support Microfinance, Manushi Laghubitta, and Abhiyan Laghubitta, which posted the highest percentage gains.
With continued positive momentum, investor confidence appears to be strengthening, driving both index growth and trading activity.
