Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has taken a firm stance against answering questions in Parliament regarding the removal of Kulman Ghising. Speaking at the National Volunteers’ Gathering of the Youth Association, Oli stated that there is no need for further discussion. He remarked, “The Prime Minister was asked to answer, and I have already done so. Why should I respond in Parliament? One was removed, another was appointed, and the matter is settled.”
Oli made it clear that he would not provide any explanations to the opposition in Parliament. He further added, “If removing one official has caused a major issue, there could be different procedures, but shutting down Parliament over this matter makes no sense.” He also urged the opposition not to engage in unnecessary criticism, saying, “Don’t be cheap, reckless, or impulsive when dealing with the Prime Minister.”
Defending his decision to remove Kulman Ghising, Oli insisted that he had committed no wrongdoing. He remarked, “We know your background, where you came from, and where you are now—it’s all evident.” He further accused his critics of clinging to the past, saying, “Some are digging up old bones from the grave and trying to reassemble them, bringing their frustrations into Parliament for debate.”
