Nepal Insurance’s 40% Right Share: Shareholders Must Own Shares by Tomorrow

Nepal Insurance Company Limited is offering 40% right shares, and tomorrow (Jestha 29) is the last day for investors to own shares if they want to be eligible. The company will close its books on Jestha 30, so only those who hold shares by Jestha 29 can apply for the right shares.

The company is issuing the right shares at a face value of Rs. 100 per share in a 10:4 ratio, which means shareholders can buy 4 new shares for every 10 they already own. A total of 65,76,967.76 right shares will be issued.

NIMB S Capital is the sales manager for this right share offering.

At present, the company’s paid-up capital is Rs. 1.89 billion. After the issuance of these right shares, the paid-up capital will increase to about Rs. 2.54 billion.
