Today is the final trading day on NEPSE for investors to qualify for Nepal Insurance Company Limited’s right shares.
At first, the company planned to issue 40% right shares in a 10:4 ratio, which meant issuing 65,76,967.76 shares at a price of Rs. 100 per share, totaling about Rs. 65.76 crores.
However, after issuing a 15% bonus share (about 24,66,362.91 shares) approved during its 76th AGM on Chaitra 19, 2081, the company’s paid-up capital increased to Rs. 1.64 billion.
As a result, the new right share ratio is now adjusted to 34.78%, and the number of shares to be issued has changed accordingly. The company has published this updated information for shareholders’ awareness.

The book closure date is Jestha 30, which means only those who hold shares by Jestha 29 (i.e., today) can apply for the right shares.
