NEPSE Falls Below 2600 Points as Market Continues to Decline

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 32.93 points today, closing at 2595.97. This means the market is now below the key 2600-point level, showing a continued downward trend. All 13 sub-indices of the market saw declines, indicating that every sector experienced a fall in stock prices.

Trading activity remained strong despite the decline. A total of shares worth NPR 9.14 billion were traded today. Around 21.5 million shares from 314 different companies were bought and sold. Among them, Dordi Khola Hydropower had the highest trading volume for the day.

Even though the overall market went down, the share prices of 23 companies managed to increase.
