National Life Insurance Donates Rs.1 Crore to Reconstruction Fund

National Life Insurance Company Limited has extended financial assistance worth Rs.1 crore to the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund established by the Government of Nepal. The contribution aims to support reconstruction, economic recovery, and relief works following the damage caused to public infrastructure during the GenZ demonstrations held on Bhadra 23 and 24, 2082.

During a special ceremony, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Suresh Prasad Khatri and Deputy General Manager Mr. Prajwal Sayami handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Mr. Rameshwor Prasad Khanal. The company stated that the support was provided under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

On the occasion, CEO Khatri highlighted that National Life Insurance has been regularly contributing to areas such as education, health, disaster management, and environmental protection. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continue extending such support in the future as part of its long-term CSR initiatives.

In accordance with the regulatory directive, the company has been setting aside one percent of its annual net profit each fiscal year into a CSR fund. The fund is utilized to carry out various social welfare, humanitarian, and environmental programs across the country.
