The Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI), under its ‘Udyamsheel’ initiative, has opened applications for a free business incubation program titled ‘UdyamStart (1st Batch)’. The program is being conducted in accordance with the “Business Promotion Service Operation and Management Procedure, 2082.”
The initiative is designed to support new and early-stage entrepreneurs in transforming their business ideas into practical, investment-ready, and sustainable enterprises. Participants will receive guidance on business plan development, mentorship from experts, market and financial preparation support, and the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors and banks during a dedicated ‘Demo Day’.
Application Details
Interested applicants must submit their applications by Baisakh 12, 2083. Only 40 startups will be selected for this incubation program.
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate
- Detailed business plan
- Self-declaration of code of conduct compliance
- Copy of PAN (Permanent Account Number)
- Company registration certificate (if applicable)
Selection Process
Submitted applications will undergo screening, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. Final selection will be based on evaluation of business ideas and potential impact.
