Nepal Stock Exchange has announced the delisting of Citizens Mutual Fund 2 because the scheme is going to mature soon.
NEPSE to Delist Citizens Mutual Fund 2
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) have decided to delist Citizens Mutual Fund 2 (CMF2) from its trading platform. Citizens Capital Limited is fund manager of this 7-year closed-end scheme. The mutual fund scheme is set to mature on Ashad 21, 2083, which is why NEPSE taken this decision.
Delisting Details and Rules
This mutual fund has a total of 5 crore 60 lakh units, with the face value of Rs. 10 per unit. NEPSE announced that the delisting of these units will be effective from Ashad 20, 2083.
According to the stock exchange, the formal process for closing down the scheme has been started as per the Mutual Fund Regulations, 2067.
