Under the new rates, the farm price of XL-size eggs has been increased from Rs. 465 to Rs. 515 per crate. Similarly, the price of large eggs has gone up to Rs. 500 from the previous rate of Rs. 450.
For medium eggs, the price has risen from Rs. 420 to Rs. 470 per crate. Meanwhile, the price of small eggs has been increased by Rs. 200 per box, making it Rs. 2,900, as per the association.
Consumer Retail Price
With this rise in farm prices, the retail price of all types of eggs for consumers has been fixed at Rs. 25 per piece.
