Madanpokhara Multi-Technical Institute in Palpa has announced free skill-based training programs in five different subjects and is inviting applications from interested Nepali citizens.
Madanpokhara Multi-Technical Institute, which is located in Tansen-09, Damkada, Palpa, and runs under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), is going to conduct free skill-based training. This program is approved under the budget of the fiscal year 2083/084. Interested Nepali citizens can apply by visiting the administration branch of the institute within 15 days from the notice publication date, which is 2083/04/28.
Details of the Training Programs
The institute is offering training for five different courses with a total of 120 seats. The available courses include Beautician for 40 people, Tailoring for 20 people, Caregiver for 20 people, E.C.M.F. Montessori for 20 people, and other market-demand courses for 20 people. All of these training programs will run for 390 hours, which is about 65 days.
Qualification and Requirements
For the Beautician, Tailoring, and market-demand courses, candidates only need to be able to read and write. However, for the Caregiver course, applicants must have passed at least Class 8. For the Montessori course, candidates need to have passed SLC or SEE with a minimum GPA of 2.0. The institute announced to providing free snacks for all students during the training period as per the council rules.
To apply for the training, you need to submit one copy of your Nepali citizenship certificate and three recent passport-size photos. The notice also mentions that first priority will be given to Dalits, Janajatis, women, poor families, and the families of martyrs and injured people. Students who successfully complete training and pass the exam from the National Skill Testing Board (NSTB) will receive a Level 1 skill certificate.
