Madanpokhara Multi-Technical Institute in Palpa has invited applications for free skill-based training programs in five different subjects for local Nepali citizens.
Free Skill Training Program Details
Madanpokhara Multi-Technical Institute, located at Tansen-09, Damkada, Palpa, is running under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). According to the approved budget program for the fiscal year 2083/084, the institute is going to organize free skill-based training. Interested Nepali citizens can easily submit their application forms by visiting administration branch of the institute within 15 days from the notice publication date, which is 2083/04/28.
Available Courses and Seat Capacity
The institute is offering free training for a total of 120 students. The classes will be conducted in five different subjects. This includes Beautician course for 40 people, Tailoring course for 20 people, Caregiver course for 20 people, and E.C.M.F. Montessori course for 20 people. Additionally, there is also a course based on market demand for 20 people. All of these training programs will have a total duration of 390 hours, which is equivalent to 65 days.
Required Qualification and Selection Process
To join the Beautician, Tailoring, and market demand courses, applicants only need to have basic reading and writing skills. However, for Caregiver training, the candidate must have passed at least Class 8. For the Montessori course, the candidate needs to have passed SLC or SEE with a minimum of 2 GPA. The institute announced to providing free snacks during the training period as per the rules of the council.
Applicants must submit one copy of their Nepali citizenship certificate and three recent passport-sized photos with their application form. First priority will be given to Dalit, Janajati, women, poor families, and families of martyrs and injured people. Students who successfully complete the training and pass the exam conducted by the National Skill Testing Board (NSTB) will receive Level 1 skill test certificate.
