The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has announced a new job vacancy for the position of Senior Financial Management Officer. This role falls under the Procurement, Portfolio, and Financial Management Department at the Nepal Resident Mission located in Kathmandu. According to official notice, this is a fixed-term position for up to 3 years.
Who Can Apply?
Only Nepali citizens and permanent residents of Nepal are allowed to apply for this job. To be eligible, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Candidates who have a master’s degree will get preference. Additionally, applicants must hold a professional qualification like CPA, CA, or ACCA which is recognized by IFAC.
Required Work Experience and Skills
Interested candidates must have at least 8 years of experience working in financial management. Out of this, at least 4 years of experience must be in supervisory role. Candidates also need to have strong knowledge of public sector accounting, auditing, and reporting standards. Excellent writing and speaking skills in both English and Nepali are highly necessary.
