NEPSE Opens Vacancy for New CEO
Nepal Stock Exchange Limited is looking for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) through an open competitive process. The government-owned stock exchange has published this notice in line with the standards for appointing and nominating officials in public bodies under Ministry of Finance, 2073. Qualified individuals who are interested in leading the stock exchange must submit their applications within 15 days from the date of notice publication.
Education and Experience Requirements
To qualify for this highly responsible position, candidates must have at least a Master’s degree or be a Chartered Accountant (CA) from recognized educational institution. The education must be in fields like Economics, Commerce, Finance, Management, Information Technology, or Law. Along with these degrees, applicants need to show a minimum of 15 years of total work experience in capital markets, financial sector, or management. Inside this total experience, they must have worked in a managerial level position for at least 7 years.
Age Limit and Other Rules
According to the notice, candidates should be at least 30 years old and must not exceed 65 years by the last date of application. The stock exchange also has some strict guidelines on who cannot apply for this job. Anyone who is mentally unstable, has been convicted of criminal charges, or holds basic shares in any securities market business is not allowed to apply.
