Nabil Bank has announced a job vacancy for the position of Chief Risk Officer to strengthen its risk management.
Nabil Bank is seeking eligible Nepali citizens for the post of Chief Risk Officer (CRO). The bank want to make its risk management system much stronger. This job is at the Senior Manager (M4) or even higher level. Interested people who are qualified can submit their applications by August 18, 2026.
Required Education and Experience
To apply for this vacancy, candidates must have completed Master’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, risk management, banking, or business administration. The education should be from recognized university or institution. The bank is looking for someone with at least 15 years of experience in banking sector. Out of this, at least 8 years should be in risk management or in leading role. Candidates who are currently working as Head of Credit Risk, Chief Risk Officer, or Deputy Chief Risk Officer will get more preference.
Extra Qualifications and How to Apply
If you have professional certificates like FRM, PRM, CFA, or CA, that will be a big plus point. Also, candidates having expertise in cyber security risk will get priority. The candidate should know how to work with board of directors, regulators, auditors, and rating agencies. They should also understand things like Basel implementation, ICAAP, and IFRS 9 or ECL.
