The Alternative Energy Promotion Centre has announced job vacancies for 36 Clean Cooking Solutions Mobilizers to work in local levels of the Terai region.
The Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC), under Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, is looking for workers on a service contract. This job is for the program called “Mitigating GHG emission through modern, efficient and climate friendly clean cooking solutions (CCS)”, which is running with the help of Green Climate Fund. AEPC needs 36 Clean Cooking Solutions Mobilizers to help implement this clean cooking program in 150 local levels of 22 districts in Terai region.
Vacancy Details and Job Positions
Out of the total 36 open positions, 18 seats are secured for open category and 18 seats are secured for women candidates. If you want to apply, you must have passed Intermediate Level (+2) or equivalent from a recognized educational institution. Candidates also need at least 2 year of work experience in renewable energy sector, social mobilization, or business promotion and marketing field. The selected candidates will have to work in their assigned local levels.
How to Apply and Selection Process
Eligible and interested Nepali citizens can submit their applications within 15 days from when this notice was published. The notice came out on Bhadra 4, 2083, which means the last day to submit application is Bhadra 18, 2083 during office hours. You must submit your work experience documents, copy of citizenship, and educational certificates. Applications can be submitted physically at AEPC office in Tahachal or you can send it through email at [email protected].
The candidate selection will be done by making a shortlist based on academic qualification and experience. After that, there will be a written exam and interview. You can download the syllabus for written exam from the official website www.aepc.gov.np. The salary will be decided by mutual agreement according to the program rules, and the selected candidates will sign a service contract for project period.
