The Town Development Fund is seeking applications from qualified Nepali citizens to fill the vacant position of Executive Director through an open competition process.
The Town Development Fund (Nagar Bikas Kosh) officially announced a vacancy for the Executive Director role. This hiring process follows the fund’s Act of 2053, Regulations of 2054, and the amended staff service conditions of 2068. Interested and eligible people have 21 days to submit their applications starting from the first publication date, which is Ashoj 12, 2083. If the final date happens to be a public holiday, applications can be submitted on the next office day at the fund’s office located in Phulchowki Mai Marga, Naya Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the job, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Chartered Accountancy, or Engineering from a recognized university along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in any of these subjects with at least 7 years of work experience is accepted. Those who only possess a Chartered Accountancy qualification need an equivalency certificate as per the law. Applicants must be at least 35 years old and not over 54 years of age by the last date of application.
How to Apply
Interested candidates need to prepare an application using the format mentioned in Schedule-10 of the staff service regulations. Documents such as Nepali citizenship, educational certificates, training records, and experience proofs must be attached. Applicants also have to submit a professional business plan of up to 5,000 words in a sealed envelope with their name and address clearly written on the outside. A payment of Rs. 3,000 is required as an application fee, which should be deposited into the fund’s account number 02901010000062 at Global IME Bank, Naya Baneshwor branch.
