Nepal Rastra Bank has appointed Executive Director Kiran Pandit as its new spokesperson. His appointment officially took effect on June 4, 2025.
Kiran Pandit started his career at the central bank in 2005 (B.S. 2062) and has gained extensive experience working in several key departments, including the Bank Supervision Department, the Bank and Financial Institution Regulation Department, and the Financial Inclusion and Consumer Protection Division. Before becoming the spokesperson, he was serving in the Payment Systems Department.
His appointment is expected to enhance communication and ensure clear dissemination of financial policies and information from Nepal Rastra Bank to the public.
