Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Limited has successfully completed its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Amrapali Banquet in Kathmandu. During the meeting, shareholders approved a proposal to distribute a 12 percent bonus share and a 0.63 percent cash dividend. After issuing the bonus shares, the company’s paid-up capital will reach Rs. 5.19 billion.
The AGM also approved the annual report, auditor’s report, and the appointment of a new auditor. In addition, the board of directors was given permission to amend the company’s memorandum of association if necessary.
Chairman Uday Nepali Shrestha stated that the company’s financial position is becoming stronger and promised to continue providing returns to shareholders regularly.
The company had already closed its books on Jestha 26, 2082, which means only those who held shares until Jestha 25 will receive the approved dividends.
