Similarly, agricultural technician Ramesh Rokaya provided practical demonstrations on land preparation, pit digging, and compost mixing for plantation. Suman Shrestha, Manager of Swabalamban Laghubitta, briefed participants on the objectives of the eco-friendly model village program and the significance of fruit farming.
Swabalamban Laghubitta has already distributed more than 2,000 fruit saplings through its branch and sub-branch offices in the last fiscal year. In the current fiscal year 2082/83, the institution has already distributed 654 saplings in Dharan, Jaleshwar, and Lele, with plans to continue the initiative in the coming months.
The event saw the participation of 53 individuals, including Narayan Devi Shrestha, Suman Shrestha, and Chetanath Bagale from the central office, along with Chucchepati branch manager Kavita Silwal, staff members Surya Subedi, Urmila Khadka, Prabin Ranabhat, and several group members and guardians.
