Petrol Price Reduced by Rs 2 per Liter in Nepal

Nepal Oil Corporation has lowered petrol prices by Rs 2 per liter, effective from midnight Wednesday, while diesel and kerosene prices remain unchanged.

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter, effective from 12:00 AM on Wednesday. The prices of diesel and kerosene, however, remain unchanged, the corporation confirmed.

The price revision follows a decrease in petroleum product prices from India, prompting NOC to adjust local fuel rates. In Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, the petrol price is now Rs 159 per liter, down from Rs 161. In second-tier cities such as Surkhet and Dang, the price has been set at Rs 158 per liter. First-tier cities including Charali, Biratnagar, and Janakpur now have a petrol rate of Rs 156.50 per liter.

This adjustment ensures that fuel prices in Nepal reflect recent international market trends while maintaining stable rates for diesel and kerosene.
