Garima Capital Gets Approval to Launch Open Mutual Fund

Garima Capital has obtained approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to operate an open-ended collective investment scheme (mutual fund). The board granted this approval on Magh 21, 2082 B.S., following the company’s application submitted on Kartik 28, 2082 B.S.

With the approval, the company will launch the Garima Suvarna Plan under the Garima Mutual Fund. The plan has a total size of NPR 1 billion, and 10 crore units will be issued at NPR 10 per unit.

Currently, Garima Capital operates the Garima Samriddhi Plan, a closed-end fund. The new open-ended fund will allow investors to enter and exit the scheme based on market conditions, providing greater flexibility compared to the closed-end fund.
