NIC Asia Bank Begins Auction of Promoter Shares for Five Companies

NIC Asia Bank Limited has started the auction of promoter shares for five companies, beginning today (Chaitra 3, 2081) and running until Chaitra 10, 2081. The auction includes shares from SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company (SJLIC), Suryadaya Womi Laghubitta (SWMF), Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA), Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta (JBLB), and Citizen Investment Trust (CIT).

The total shares up for auction are 50,000 units of SJLIC, 59,060 units of SWMF, 10,00,000 units of NIFRA, 2,87,842 units of JBLB, and 50,000 units of CIT. Only qualified investors are allowed to participate in the bidding process.

The minimum bid prices for the shares are set at Rs. 159 for SJLIC, Rs. 269 for SWMF, Rs. 105 for NIFRA, Rs. 540 for JBLB, and Rs. 696 for CIT. The auction is being managed by NIC Asia Capital.

For promoter shares of SJLIC, NIFRA, JBLB, and SWMF, the minimum bid quantity is 5,000 units, while for CIT, it is 10,000 units, with no upper limit on bids.

As per the latest trading prices, the Last Traded Price (LTP) of these stocks stands at Rs. 458.00 for SJLIC, Rs. 770.00 for SWMF, Rs. 275.00 for NIFRA, Rs. 1,388.00 for JBLB, and Rs. 1,998.00 for CIT.
