NIC Asia Bank Limited has put a total of 1,446,902 shares of five different companies up for auction, and today, Chaitra 10, is the last day for investors to submit their bids. Interested investors must ensure their applications are submitted within office hours to be considered for the bidding process.
The auction, which began on Chaitra 3, includes shares from Citizens Investment Trust (CIT), Surya Jyoti Life Insurance, Suryauday Womi Laghubitta, Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA), and Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta. Among these, CIT shares have a minimum bid price of NPR 696 per share, while Suryauday Womi Laghubitta is set at NPR 269 per share. Surya Jyoti Life Insurance shares are available at a minimum price of NPR 159, and NIFRA shares start at NPR 105 per share. Similarly, Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta shares are being auctioned at a base price of NPR 540 per share.
For CIT shares, investors must bid for a minimum of 10,000 shares, whereas for the other four companies, the minimum requirement is 5,000 shares per bid. While submitting their applications, investors need to clearly mention the number of shares they wish to purchase and specify the bid price in both numerical and written formats to ensure clarity.
The auction is being managed by NIC Asia Capital Limited. Investors can submit their applications at NIC Asia Capital’s office in Thapathali, Kathmandu, as well as at NIC Asia Bank’s corporate office in Thapathali. Additionally, applications can be submitted at designated branches in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Dhangadhi, and Surkhet. Since today marks the final day for bidding, applicants must ensure that their forms are submitted within office hours to be considered for the process.
