Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has directed 21 listed companies to immediately clear their pending annual renewal fees as per the Securities Listing Regulations, 2075 B.S. The exchange issued a final notice after previous communications failed to result in payment from the concerned companies.
According to NEPSE, companies are required to deposit the renewal fee into NEPSE’s account at Global IME Bank. Companies with paid-up capital of up to NPR 5 crore must pay NPR 50,000, while those with capital above this threshold are required to pay NPR 100,000 as the annual renewal fee.
If the dues are not cleared within the stipulated time, a penalty will be imposed at a rate of 10% per annum. NEPSE has also instructed companies to submit the payment voucher via email after completing the transaction.
