Sun Nepal Life Insurance to Auction Unsold Rights Shares Starting Asar 23

Sun Nepal Life Insurance is putting 2,24,728 of its unsold rights shares up for auction. These shares were left over after the company previously offered them to its existing shareholders. Out of the total, 80,222 shares are reserved for the promoter group, and 1,44,506 shares are available for the general public.

The minimum price to bid for each share is NPR 100. Only current promoter shareholders are allowed to bid for the promoter group shares. However, anyone can take part in the auction for the public shares.

To take part, promoter shareholders must bid for at least 1,000 shares, while the public can bid for at least 100 shares. Bidders can apply for either all the available shares or a smaller amount, with a maximum limit set at one-tenth of the total unsold shares.

The auction will run from Asar 23 to Asar 30. Those interested can collect the application form from Nepal SBI Merchant Banking’s office in Thamel (the issue manager), Sun Nepal Life’s head office in Putalisadak, or its branch offices in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, and Dhangadhi.
