The Social Development Office in Hetauda under the Bagmati Province Government has invited applications from interested citizens for various free skill development trainings.
Available Courses and Education Qualifications
The Social Development Office, Hetauda, under the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Bagmati Province, has called for applications for different skill development trainings for the fiscal year 2083/084. Eligible Nepali citizens who wants to learn these skills must submit their application form to the office within 15 days of this notice first publication. The last date to submit the application form is 2083 Saun 25.
There are different types of courses being offered. For the 6-month computer software training which is of 730 hours, applicants must have passed SLC or SEE. For other 3-month courses of 390 hours like general mechanics, basic beauty parlor, and plumbing, the minimum qualification is passing class 8. For basic tailoring, class 8 pass is required, while for electronics repair training, applicants must have passed class 10.
Application Process and Interview Dates
Applicants need to attach a recent passport-size photo, a copy of their Nepali citizenship certificate, and their academic certificates with the application form. The application forms can be collected from the Social Development Office in Hetauda, Makwanpur. The selection of candidates will be done through an interview process.
The interviews will start at 10 AM on different dates. For computer software and general mechanics, the interview is on 2083/04/26. For hair dressing and plumbing, it will take place on 2083/04/27, and for tailoring and electronics repair, the interview is scheduled for 2083/04/28.
Age Limit and Priority Groups
To participate in these free trainings, the age of the applicant must be between 16 and 40 years old. The official notice states that priority will be given to poor, marginalized, Dalit, women, backward communities, disabled people, people injured during the people’s movement, martyr families, and single women.
