The office of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City is organizing a two-day free training session in collaboration with UNDP Nepal and support from TCCF. The training is part of a larger plastic waste cycle management project. Classes will be held in two separate groups to accommodate participants. The first group will attend the training on Ashwin 15 and 16, while the second group is scheduled for Ashwin 17 and 18, 2083.
Eligibility and How to Apply
This program focuses on skills related to plastic recycling and upcycling businesses. People who are already working in the waste management sector, those who run small home-based businesses, or individuals planning to start such work are eligible. The program also encourages unemployed youth from Dalit, Janajati, women, and economically disadvantaged backgrounds to apply. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. While there is no strict educational bar, those who have completed secondary level education get preference for the selection.
Applicants are required to submit their application, a copy of their Nepali citizenship, and one passport-sized photograph to the Sanitation and Waste Management branch of the Butwal Sub-Metropolitan office.
